Don’t you sometimes wish that you could get a month or two uninterrupted by anything and anyone without responsibilities so that you could catch up with all the things you don’t have time to do that are lacking in your life? I am sure mothers specifically feel the pain.
I remember being young, carefree and childless and thinking that I had no time to do anything cuz I worked. Bwwahahahahahahahaa! I don’t think you understand the meaning of lack of time until you have kids ( adding a full time job or work at home job, part time job and hobbies on top of that is a plus).
My schedule has turned into “go to bed at 1-2 am, wake up at 7-8am” just so that I could possibly make a dent in everything.
It’s really fun, if you think about it. I wouldn’t choose to have it any other way. I like being busy. If I didn’t, I would stop with all the wanting and hobbies and shit that I keep piling up on myself.
So…this was brought on in part by the fact that Easter was awesome this time, but awesome here means I took more photos that I can go through in a month, plus videos, plus two egg hunts. Yikes!
They are so adorable, I am having trouble staying away from going through them. Lexi had a neighborhood egg hunt and then an egg hunt we organized in our backyard together with Lexitwin. The photos of them in their white dresses are OUT OF this world!
And I still have Disney photos to share ( really cool ones, too) and our trip to Tampa for Pink concert, and there is the long forgotten girls’ boating trip, my first time out without Lexi, and of course all the more meaningful posts and all the products I’ve discovered in the meantime that are great for this age and more more more more more more….
And the second part of why I wrote this post was because I was showing Lexi some of our home videos ( it’s actually beneficial for babies to watch home videos (slow moving, ones featuring babies themselves), I’ll be writing about that…eventually. Helps them with sense of self and memories), and I bumped into a video I did a few years back of us and our girlfriends’ trip to Universal.
Oh what fun!
And for lack of more time to write a proper post, I will leave you with that video. It makes me happy!
