Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Christmas is almost here, presents are all wrapped and we are excited to have our family open them. I wanted to share with you the top products that make the most amazing innovative unique gifts! How do I know that they are amazing? Because these are specifically the products that I have tried, used, bought, gifted and loved this year!

Pair Eyewear

A super cool invention where you can switch the look of your kid’s eyeglasses in a second with their magnetic frames. It comes with 1 frame that you can supplement with different color faces and simply snap it onto the frame if you’re interested in a different look.

Outschool

Lexi and I are obsessed with this service. As you might know, we homeschool ( or hybridschool to be more precise), so I am always looking for a service to supplement what she is learning. Outschool provides affordable classes that are so much fun to attend. You use a video chatting platform to attend with other kids of the same age range and it works like a normal classroom. So far we have tried classes on self-confidence, Minecraft building and a class for social interaction ( where everyone just gathers and talks on a specific topic). Other classes starting in January for us are a big Minecraft project where they will build a fully functioning and self-governing city, a multiplication class, class on the history of cats and a few more.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Amazing Grass

A surprising addition to this year’s round-up, Amazing Grass’s effervescent tablets (I don’t know what that means, but that’s what they are calling this product) are round tums like tablets that dissolve in water and provide you with vitamins, greens, nutrients, and even detox. It’s amazing how easy it is to drop a tablet in and get a full serving of veggies.

Prana Mat

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! Prana Mat is an equivalent of bed of nails, no joking here! And the benefits are absolutely amazing. I use prana mat every morning when I wake up and the prana pillow every night before going to sleep. At first, it’s almost impossible to lay on it bare-skinned, but with time you get used to it. Prana mat was designed for pain management, relaxation and peace. It’s like a simultaneous massage on your whole back with hundreds of little petals. It promotes almost instant body relaxation and for someone who has always struggled with neck pain, it absolutely gets rid of it for me if used consistently.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Palm Phone

Do you ever wish that you could shrink your phone to a tiny size when you’re working out or running or going out? Palm Phone is tiny, yet has all the features of a full android OS and most importantly can sync with your phone, so it extends the functionality of your normal phone. So when you’re at the gym, all calls and texts are routed to the Palm.

The size of a credit card, it is designed for minimalists, athletes and kids, focused on taking up less of your attention ( especially if you turn on life mode). In Life Mode, it silences incoming texts and notifications when the screen is turned off, making you more focused on real-life rather than what’s going on on your phone.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Bandolier

This has been the only case I have used for the last 5 years! It became my wallet, purse and phone case! Each case has a little pocket for your ID and credit cards, as well as a strap, so you can be completely hands-free.

Cambiami

Let’s take a sandal that you really love. And then add lots of different style variations to it? And you’ll get Cambiami.
It’s a sandal that allows you to swap out the straps to match to your outfits, on the go!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Adventure Challenge

This is a great concept and book that helps get quality time with family (there is a couple and family edition).

You get a book and a polaroid style camera. When you’re ready to take on a challenge, you scratch off one of the challenges and follow it, then take a picture and stick it onto that page in the book. After you complete the whole book, you will have not only made memories but you also have a scrapbook that recorded them.

Nanoleaf

This product surprised me with the ease of installation and how much fun it bring to your rooms. Nanoleaf are separate triangle (or square ) shaped light fixtures that you can design in any shape and literally stick onto a wall-like surface. We got the heart one, but decided to change it up and put it over our movie screen and it looks amazing! You can set it up to be one color, slowly change from color to color or dance to the sounds or music.

Moonpod

The Tesla of bean bags, Moonpod is an oval-shaped beanbag that creates an anti-anxiety environment and a float like sensation. It’s more affordable and takes up less space than any other alternative on the market. Made of high-density beads, it conforms to your body and cradles it in different positions depending on how you sit on it. I usually use it to meditate (in laying down position), work (sitting down position), watch movies ( reclined position)

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Worldmap

With how much we travel, we have to have a map mural, right? This one is so subtle (almost looks like wallpaper) and so detailed, we usually sit and discuss different destinations and places we have been or want to go.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Intelliglobe

Another way to bring the world to us when we are home! This globe is fun for kids and adults, alike! The smart pen allows you to touch any part of the world and get a ton of facts about that particular country. You can also play trivia and quiz games which we love to do together. Lexi’s geography knowledge is kind of iffy, but I often see her play with the globe nowadays.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Goal Crazy Planner

Ah! I am obsessed with productivity and have tried literally over 20 different planners. At the moment this one is my favorite and fits my schedule and types of businesses I do the best! Try it out!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Little Talk Deck

One of the smallest, but probably my most favorite and most helpful products for this year. Little Conversation Deck is a genius creation from the company that makes amazing productivity products. This is a deck of 150 cards that spark very deep conversations with your children. Lexi absolutely loves doing it and asks to go through a few questions every night. In the handful of times that we have done it, I have uncovered two major issues within her that I was able to really help with. Not something she would share willingly on her own, these cards helped her open up, with tears, and share some of the things that are troubling her. After these few cathartic moments, she has expressed her gratitude to this form of communication “We were able to figure out two big problems within me and now I do not struggle with them as much! I love Little Talk Deck”
I recommend it to anyone with kids under 18!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

TENS System

Another pain management system, this one is great to target certain parts of your body after a tough work out, a pulled muscle or for muscle conditioning. It sends little electrical pulses, interrupting the nerve-pain connection, getting rid of the pain in any part of your body. For muscle conditioning, it contracts and releases the muscle making it “work out” while you do anything else. It’s great to use during driving, working for 10-20 minutes at a time.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Playmakar

If you’re at all active ( or know anyone who is), this massager is a life-saver (especially for the person who tends to give you massages). I try to use it after every volleyball game or gym session, it feels amazing and requires almost no effort from the giver’s side to massage. Well worth the money.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Bodyglove

I am in love with this paddleboard suit! It looks amazing on, it protects you from the sun, and I use it for everything else aside from paddleboarding ( I don’t paddleboard): volleyball, beach, pool, boating. See Instagram stories for a video of the fit: @everyavenuelife

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Waterpik

I have been a huge fan of Waterpik for a long time. It’s a water flossing system that is so easy and quick to use. Often times I am so tired at night after hours of working that the last thing I want is to floss, so I use Waterpik and it does the job for me. It’s great for people who like a clean mouth after every meal. Flossing is unrealistic after every meal, but using Waterpik is so easy.

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Back to the Roots Water Garden

This is a gift that I got for Lexi for Christmas, so we have not opened it yet, but the concept is super cute. It’s a water garden fed by an aquarium! I guess we get to add a fish to our family!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Scentsicles

My favorite part about winter holidays is that I can bring out my Christmas smelling scentsicles and make the whole house smell amazing! Non-toxic and seriously the best most addictive smell. I hang them everywhere!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

GoFiltr

I have been eyeing an alkalinization for our water for a while, but they are so expensive and require installation, so I have not committed to getting one. In the meantime, we use this filter that you simply drop into your water bottle and it makes your water alkaline. Brilliant!

Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Under-Cabinet Towel Dispenser

I was super iffy about this until we actually installed it and used it. This is a paper towel dispenser for your kitchen that works similarly to what you see in public bathrooms. Not having to have all these paper towel holders everywhere is amazing. My favorite feature is when it sucks the paper towels you don’t need back!
