Burlington to do a post about the brand. They sent me a $100 gift card and instructed to visit the store and then do a little haul video based on what I got there. This is my first haul type of video, however instead of sitting in front the computer and showing the pieces like that, I decided to actually model them really quickly instead. Burlington stores are similar to other discount type of stores where you can find clothing and home decor items at 65% off department store prices. When I was shopping there, I found a pair of  amazing jeans ( not allowed to mention the brand) that would normally be over $160. They weren't in my size, but I contemplated buying them just to gift to someone who is size 2, because they were being sold for $16.99 I was going to the store with a few things in mind. I haven't really written much about my lifestyle change, but if you follow me on IG, you have noticed that I have finally adopted a very active lifestyle which means that activewear and casualwear is what I prefer most of the times, something to throw on when running out the door. That is exactly what I focused on in the hour that I had to spend at the Burlington store before my volleyball game. Surprisingly they had a really decent activewear section and I was able to find 3 items that will work nicely with my current fashions. Pants are really hard for me to shop for, there are only a handful of brands that have the right length and look, so I focused on casual tops I can wear when out with Lexi and activewear. All together I was able to buy 7 pieces using the $100 gift card which I would consider pretty good. I shot the photos and the video literally ten minutes before having to run out the door, so I didn't get to "style" or even match any of these, but this gives a good idea of what I bought nonetheless. You can watch the video for the full haul or see some of the photos below that highlight a few items from it. Of course, Lexi was helping me shoot these, the little  ragamuffin 🙂 One more thing that is worth mentioning about Burlington is that  they have partnered with a national non-profit WomenHeart and are committed to education women about the importance of their heart health through their annual Red Dress Event. Customers can donate $1 or more at checkout to support women’s heart health through March 31st. And for every dress purchased throughout the campaign, Burlington will donate $1, up to $25,000 to support WomenHeart whose mission is to educate and support women living with heart disease.
