A WEEK IN IPHONE PHOTOS
I’ve been meaning to participate in this for a while now, but had nothing to show unless you count pictures of my swollen cheeks and my bed.
Well, upon close inspection, it turns out I have over 3000 iphone photos (woops)
So here is the latest stuff:
1. My cat loves towels. He loves them so much he will sit on a towel regardless of where it’s located. Even if it’s on my head
2. Swollen from wisdom teeth surgery ( i can’t believe i posted this monstrosity)
5. I got flowers from hubby out of the blue. The training has been paying off.
6. Cats attacking me for my oatmeal. You’d think I don’t feed them.
3. Going for a rollerblading run in the neighborhood
4. Our community is blooming like crazy. Mental note to self: love February and March
7. Cool Floridian shadows on our driveway
8. Gorgeous tropical flowers bought from a local farmer’s market.
9. My typical afternoon: sitting by the fire reading a book
10. First time out after the surgery. As you can see, NOT HAPPY about being out.
11. Rollerblading again
12. I got my Apron Queen apron from taking 4th place in this contest. YAY to that.
The training has been paying off. :)))))
Nice! I guess all those pre-conception books chapters about “giving good support and care” did their magic too 🙂
Looks like a fun week. Your cats are adorable!
i am crazy jealous over your weather. i am realizing more & more how badly i want to live somewhere tropical. seattle aint cuttin’ it these days. i love your pics!! so happy you linked up 🙂
the apron looks so cute! glad you love it!
This has nothing to do with this post, but I couldn’t find an email button. Anyway, I want to get down to about 115-118 lbs (I am 5′ 4″) and I am about 123 now. I have been reading your get fit entries and finding them helpful, I don’t have a blog, or I would join. I have been tracking everything with http://nutritiondata.self.com/, which is far better than “loose it” in my opinion because you can add recipes instead of everything individually and it gives you the nutritional data of everything you have been eating AND you can export it to a spreadsheet to track it long term. To start the process, I am eating ONLY fruits and veggies. With this diet however, I am getting 0 B12 and 0 Vitamin D. Is there anything I can eat that will give me these nutrients?
Yes, I agree. Nutritiondata is an excellent site and I use it specifically to track vitamins that I eat, however I find loseit more convenient for calorie and exercise tracking, since I have it on my phone.
It’s a great idea to switch to fruits and veggies, just make sure you get enough of them, and maybe add just a little bit of whole grains.
There are really no good vegetable sources of Vit. D and B12. Veggie burgers have about 23% of B12. In your case, you need to supplement with vitamins and minerals anyways. Since you’re eating a lot of fruits and veggies you don’t need stuff like A,C or such, however supplementing D which comes in Calcium supplements that you should be taking anyways, is very smart. I also use a B vitamin supplement. It’s only B vitamins + a bit of Folic acid and none exceed 100% of DV. This is the one I take: Naturals B-Complex.
What I do for those vitamins besides supplements is add the only meat product I allow myself to eat, which is sardines. They’re super low in mercury, very low in dioxins, high in Omegas and have over 100% of D and B12 in half a can (of canned sardines). They are so healthy, it seems silly for me to exclude them just because I am a vegetarian.
Let me know if you have any questions, always happy to help.
I’m impressed with the quality of these photos! Love the cat on your towel. Very cute. And I totally understand your issue with the cats fighting over your oatmeal. I have two Border collies at home and they will beg until they are sure you are finished your meal and nothing will be dropped on the floor. They act like we starve them!
