WEEK 4 – Puddle Splashing and Fort Building

This week we have all been sick, still recovering so not much was done. I was hoping to go on a family bike ride through the woods but it couldn’t happen cuz we were miserable. But just as it would happen we got a rainy day. YAY! And rainy days mean two things: indoor activities and puddle splashing.

Puddle Splashing And Fort Building – Week 4 Of 52 Weeks Of Experiences

She was familiar with puddle splashing from Daniel Tiger episode and our previous experience and fort building was completely new to her, not even something she has ever read in books about.

As I kid I LOVED building forts and escaping to them, so I was curious how she would respond to it.

I’ll post pictures of the puddle splashing right now and fort building will get posted later today or tomorrow. Mama’s gotta sleep some time. FORT BUILDING HERE (live 4/11)

BTW, you can tell these pictures weren’t staged because of the big ugly green trash cans in the background lol I am so bad about paying attention to my surroundings, because Lexi is too fast to really “stage” anything, so I snap where and how she allows me. 🙂

The raincoat was bought on Zulily literally when Lexi was 3 months old for when she’s 4 🙂 It fits now. The shoes are from Pediped, not rainwear but the only boots we have. I love seeing Lexi in boots- SUCH a cutie!
