We travel so much, I rarely get to just walk around the beautiful streets of Southwest Florida with my camera. One day I had to take a photo for an article on Daily Mom and I realized how much I miss being able to appreciate the local nature and surroundings, being so focused on traveling far and unique. But it really is beautiful. These shots were grabbed from the window of the car with a mirrorless, so they are far from amazing, yet they evoke a feeling that I almost forgot. I feel here at home.
Days at home are so rare and so necessary that I spend them all working. Not a bad problem to have, but maybe I need to keep forcing myself to slow down and enjoy what is close to home. (if I come back with another photo post with local nature, you’ll know I managed to do that)
