UPDATE

I am sure you have noticed no new posts for a few weeks.

I’ve been trying to get a massive Skincare routine post out, but it’s taking longer than I expected.

Add to that Lexi’s first cold 2 weeks ago, then roseola virus she caught as soon as she recovered from the cold, then crazy number of guests (My Daily Mom girls and their babies were visiting), then trying to recover from that and finally nearing the end of the 50 Days of Giveaways has left me little time for this blog of mine.

Update

So I figured I’d take the month of May off to regroup, finish off a few things and get caught up on some posts. I’ll be scheduling a ton of posts for June while Β I am away from the blog to get a bit ahead.

I will post two posts before I “leave”: the skincare post and the Clek review, because I know some readers have been waiting on those.

Otherwise, we are all doing great, working hard, having fun, taking lots of pics and developing, learning and loving. (with an occasional break down here and there on my part from lack or time and too much to do… haha oh life!)

  1. My son who is 15 months just had the Roseola virus too, scary high fever, poor little babes. I guess it is pretty common, I didn’t have a clue what is was till the rash came.

    • I actually thought it could very well be roseola ( since she’s never had a fever before i pulled out my Portable Pediatrician book and that was one of the illnesses that fit), but when we went to my pedi, she was CONVINCED it was a cold, though it made no sense. So we went with that, until 3 days later she got a mild rash. I was glad it was something as simple as that, though.

  2. So glad you are all ok, was actually getting worried! Looking forward to your skin are post. My little guy had Roseola when he was little too. So frustrating as he had a fever for like 3 days, couldn’t understand why, then just when I think- ok go to the doctor time- fevers gone and this rash appears. I remembered another mom from my moms group saying how she always was relieved when the rash appeared! Now I understand!! Good luck & enjoy your mini break.

      • Sometimes children have an allergic reaction to viruses. It’s very strange but they can get a rash just from minor illness.
Lexie is really turning into a beautiful little person πŸ™‚

  3. I was getting worried too lol, which cracks me up because I don’t even know you! I am sorry Lexi was sick, but am glad to hear she is doing better, Im super sad you are taking a month off (just for selfish reasons cause I love reading your blog so much), but am glad you are taking some time for yourself, you definately work hard and deserve it! πŸ™‚ Have a great month of May, see you in June …PS, these pictures are absolutely beautiful!

  4. First of all, you are stunning and it’s not even fair! You don’t look like you have given birth any time in the last decade. Good for you! Second of all, you’re little peanut is precious. Great job on the pics!

Feel free to check out my > Baby Blog < as well. We have free baby product contests and giveaways! πŸ™‚

Love your theme as well. Goes great with the site!

  5. Gabriella got that around 6 months. It scared me so much, but since it is a very common mild virus, it was nothing to worry about. πŸ™‚ Glad you are all ok.

  6. I’m hoping we’re finally done with being sick! My little guy had constant colds and ear infections all winter (and just had tubes put in his ears last week).
