{If you follow me on Facebook, you have already seen this story. }
My e-friend Amanda who has 4 adorable girls just found out that her 2 year old daughter has a brain tumor. Needless to say, the whole family is devastated but they are doing all they can to make Reesey better. Reesey was a “Wondergirl” on Halloween and hopefully this red cape hanging over her bed will help her fight through.
I would just like to take a second to tap into the power of social media and internet and ask you to spread the love, the word and help them out in any way you can.
You can read their story here: http://www.thisyearslovewilllast.com/ and join their facebook page, as well as visit their donation page to help with medical bills or any other monetary needs or just to say “Hang in there!’
I’ve set up their donation widget on the sidebar for anyone who would like to help them out.
oh friend , thank you <3 its been such a long few weeks and will be long years to come. i miss my baby at home 🙁 love you for posting this.
Why would I donate the money to you to give to her? Wouldn’t it make more sense just to give it to her?
Seriously? Did you even read?
Why would I collect money to give to her? It’s a fund set up by her friends with her as a beneficiary.
I am just spreading the message.
obviously there is a link to Reesey’s page for donations! You’re stupid to come on here and make ignorant comments on such a precious story. Elena is trying to help her friend out, shame on you for assuming she was asking for money herself!
Now THIS is how to do a blog entry to ask for thoughts, prayers, donations, and support!!! Thank you for spreading awareness for Reese.
It was a misunderstanding – I apologize for making you upset. But you could have explained it instead of getting so cranky/high-strung.
Thanks for the apology! It’s too sensitive of a story to assume that I would take the money and comment on that alone.
